David James Heslip, 69, passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2020. He was born on June 10, 1951, in Tecumseh, Michigan to James and Elva (Cannon) Heslip. David was a Manchester High School Alumni, graduating in 1969 and a member of the FFA (Future Farmers of America).
After graduation, he attended the Michigan State University Agriculture Business Program. David worked on the family dairy farm, but had a passion or love for Corvettes. He was a member of the St. Mary Roman Catholic Church for many years. David will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
David is survived by his mother Elva; siblings, Jennifer (Gerald) Miller of Manchester; Daniel (Maureen) Heslip of Manchester; Michelle (Lee) Smith of Montana and sister-in-law Shelley (Roller-Heslip) Garrot; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father James, and brother Charles Heslip. A special thank you to the caring staff at Arbor Manor in Spring Arbor.
