Megan Linski
Many readers may not realize that the local mental health advocate and founder & organizer of Manchester’s annual Out of the Darkness suicide prevention walk, Megan Linski, is also an Amazon bestselling author. On September 4, her new series, The Rhodi Saga, is being released and in it she combines both of these passions. Comprised of Rhodi’s Light, Rhodi Rising, and Rhodi’s Lullaby, Linski incorporates mental illness into this young adult dystopian fantasy series.
The Rhodi Saga centers around main character, fifteen-year-old Dylan Fairsson, and her twin brother Devin as they train to become warriors in order to survive living in a harsh, dystopian world. As Dylan’s expertise as a fighter grows, she eventually is diagnosed with depression, and must learn how to cope with the internal struggles of mental illness, as well as deal with the loss of her parents.
